My teaching approach

Your swing.
Your way.

Methodical technique coaching, clear explanations and enjoyment of the game.

Stephanie helping a golfer develop her swing

A sound foundation

Posture. Grip.
Alignment.

A good golf swing starts with a solid foundation: posture, grip and alignment. From there we develop a movement suited to your individual physical abilities.

As a PGA golf instructor and certified TPI Golf Fitness Instructor, I see the swing and physical ability as a whole. My guiding principle is to progress from simple tasks to more challenging ones.

Step by step

From the short game
to the full swing.

We begin with the short game to build a feel for the club, ball and movement. The other phases of the swing build on this. First you understand a movement, then we practise putting it into action confidently.

Clear explanations and appropriate exercises make complex movements manageable. The aim is a swing you understand and that feels right for you.

Learning your way

See. Understand. Feel.

Everyone learns differently. Some people need a clear visual picture. Others want the connections explained at their own pace. Others learn best by consciously feeling and repeating a movement.

We use images and video, clear explanations and focused movement exercises. Together we discover which tools help you, rather than limiting you to a single way of learning.

You bring time and motivation; I bring my experience as a golf instructor. Together we develop a personal, repeatable swing and a stable routine. Golf remains a learning process that we shape at your pace.
